Come one come all to our first PPC-HK Boat Trip:

See this thread for more details:

(FYI : You need a flickr account and to sign up in our flickr group)

Maybe we can have this on the 9th of August.

Whoever is interested, please sign up here so we may know how many of you guys are coming. The yacht can accomodate 30 - 40 people, dock at the ferry pier (Central) and take us to Sai Kung waters. Details shall be posted here on a later date.

HK$ 300.00 per person will be charged - depending on the number of people joining. We may ask for a couple of models so we could do a bikini shoot on the beach. (just an IDEA)

Please let us know your ideas on this so we can discuss it altogether.

Thank you for your kind attention and hopefully the weather will be nice when the time comes.

PPC-HK Presents : EXPRESS

The Pinoy Photographers’ Club - Hong Kong presents “Express” as its offering for the 3rd Philippine Arts Festival.

Express is a word richly layered with meaning, usually associated with speed [of delivery of anything or anyone], communication [as in "to express" something], specificity [as adjective--to be precise or exact], and pressing out [as in extracting or squeezing out]. Aptly titled, this second exhibit should reveal exciting, unique and graphic images from the Filipino lens men, whose cameras took them to the streets and places not only in Hong Kong but around the world.

PPC-HK is a group organized almost two years ago consisting of Filipino architects, designers, engineers, entertainers, programmers, and managers who all share the passion for photography. This is the second exhibit for the Club whose membership has more than doubled since its conception in October 2006. Last year, the club debuted at the Fringe with Pagbabalik [Homecoming] and captured images from their homeland. This time around, PPC-HK has more to offer. With Express as its theme, the photographs explore various “takes” of the word.
